Mr. Henderson, Our Principal.
Well, as you all know, Mr. Henderson is our school principal, here at Meeker High School. He started last year in September 2008.
Before he became a principal he used to teach math for 15 years and also coached all sports besides volleyball. Mr. Henderson developed as a principal by being recommended by other principals.
Mr. Henderson did not have a lot of expectations about what the job was going to be like because it was something brand new.
Mr. Henderson always wanted to be an accountant or a teacher when he was younger and throughout he reached his goals.
Many of his responsibilities as a principal are just to keep a safe environment and make students feel comfortable as well as welcomed. He just wants students to succeed in school. Each week it varies with different things because of so many different things that happen. Mr. Henderson feels that hes most rewarding thing according to his job as a principal is for students to build respect and pride for their school.
